Modest Mojito - Mint Lime Simple Syrup Recipe - White Claw Cocktail RecipeThe Internet has enjoyed ragging on hard seltzer fans this summer, but White Claw memes will not deter us! This gluten free, portable, fizzy, boozy beverage definitely has its place in the hot weather party cooler.

Still, why not dress it up a little? Use this 5-minute recipe to make our Mint-Lime Simple Syrup and take your camping-friendly cocktail to the next level.

Bonus: it’ll use up those lime White Claws from the variety pack that no one likes.

Ingredients

  • 1 12oz can lime hard seltzer
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 springs fresh mint
  • 1 whole, fresh lime

Instructions

In a small saucepan, heat water and sugar over medium-low heat, stirring frequently.

While the liquid is heating up, zest your whole lime into a large metal or glass bowl. One the lime is zested, squeeze in the lime juice and add the whole mint sprigs.

When the sugar is fully dissolved, pour the hot liquid into the bowl over the lime and mint. Cover with plastic wrap or a tight-fitting lid, and let sit until it reaches room temperature.
